We're just about 30 days away from the start of the Happy Together Tour 2015. I'll tell you, it would be just fine by me to get started today…but you have to play by the rules, I suppose. Anyway, this year should be bigger than ever with acts like the Buckinghams, the Turtles featuring Flo and Eddie, the Cowsill, Mark Lindsay, the Association, and of course, the Grass Roots.
I'll be providing the proverbial 'play-by-play' by blogging and uploading photos right here on a daily basis, as my schedule permits. Also, I'm going to add something new to the fold...

"Periscope" will allow me to broadcast live to you from the stage, or backstage, or even from the bus, as it is happening. Doesn't matter if the show is in New York City, Kansas City, or Sioux Coty...It's like you'll be there with me. The app is free. And isn't that all you really need to know? :-)
I suggest you download the app in advance (on the left is what you'll see when you go to the app store) and test it out just to be sure you don't miss opening night. I'll schedule an in-the-studio test during a "making noise with Mark Dawson" broadcast before the tour starts, to help you familiarize yourselves with the app. My Periscope username is "Dawsonbass". I'll let you know any time I'm going 'live' on the air and then all you have to do is look me up and watch. It's also interactive so you can send messages in real time. How cool is this? 'Extremely cool' is the answer. I'm really looking forward some summer fun. See you real soon!!
